Product Manager Assessment We offer two forms of Product Manager assessments. The first is a 3600 assessment process. The second is a series of tests that evaluate each manager’s strengths and development needs. The two approaches are described below. 3600 assessment 1. Customize the assessment for Cypress: Rate the importance of 70 competencies to the Product Manager Role(s) at Cypress. C = Critical; V=Very Important; I = Important; M=Minor Importance. 2.1 Self assessment: Each manager rates him/herself on selected competencies using a 5 point scale. 2.2 Optional: manager assessment: Each manager rates subordinates on the same competencies using a 5 point scale. 2.3 Optional: Peer assessment: Each peer rates the product manager on the same competencies using a 5 point scale. 3.
