Karl plays a central roll in the firm's three practice areas: Product and Marketing Training; Market Research-based strategy (his first love); and the Go-to-market Power Play which he created at the prompting of the American Marketing Association.
Karl's most recent book, The Customer Learning Curve, describes a tool to help marketers identify where in the purchasing process they are losing customers and to create marketing programs that increase marketing efficacy by delivering the greatest customer response.
Karl's next book will focus on The Marketer's Workflow: the five documents and six processes that great marketers use and which are the defining characteristics of world class marketing.
Karl is well published in the marketing world and has authored articles appearing in: Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Association of International Product Marketing and Management, Marketing News, Telephony, Public Utilities Fortnightly, and he has been asked to write a monthly column in the new American Marketing Association Newsletter.
Karl brings 25+ years of consulting and corporate experience to his speaking and writing. He received his B.A. from Beloit College and his Masters degree from Northwestern University. He has consulted with international "best-in-class" companies such as: Sprint PCS, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, UPS, Telefonica and Bellsouth.
